Tuesday was a full day! We started off with our first group devotions with the children at Subic Bay Children’s Home. Each week they focus on a specific character trait. This week’s is efficiency. Nick gave a devotional encouraging us to be efficient with our time so we can be consistent in our personal time with God.

Right after devotions, we headed out to host a Bible study with the national police and barangay (local) police. Will preached about the role of government in society from a Biblical perspective.

Subic Bay Baptist Church hosts a church service at a local prison each week. We participated by conducting a Bible trivia game. It was very popular since the prizes were an American dollar! Nick, Kelsi, Sylvia, and Rachel provides special music. Then Jacob preached about our God Who graciously gives second chances. Five prisoners accepted Christ. To God be the glory!

After an American lunch of burgers and tacos, we headed back to the children’s home to prepare for a youth conference. Almost 300 youth from local churches attended. Every team member took part in games, skits, and music. And Ethan preached from Galatians about living in the power of the Spirit.

We enjoyed supper with the kids at the home, some fellowship time, then off to bed to wrap up our second day!

Everyone is still healthy and happy. Thank you for your continued prayers!

Wednesday we’ll clean up a local park with some members of the Subic Pearl Rotary Club. Then our Wednesday evening service will be at Amazing Grace Baptist Church with pastor Alvin Fulfer. We look forward to sharing more soon!
