Jacob started Thursday off leading SBC home devotions, then we loaded up and headed to the hospital for visitation.
The girls rode in the van, and the guys rode on the Victory – the local bus line. Each week, the preachers from Subic Bay Baptist Church preach on the bus on the way to the hospital.
At the hospital, the team sang on the front steps for a little bit, then headed inside to pray with patients.
The guys enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant with the preachers, and the girls ate with the kids at the children’s home and prepared for the Ladies’ Conference – which was a wonderful success! Nearly 200 ladies came, and we had a wonderful time together.
Several of the girls provided music, and each of the girls hosted a table. We met a former Philippine Basketball Association player who gave her testimony and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her. Rachel spoke on Guarding Your Mind, and many ladies commented that they were helped.
The guys had some special time with the boys as well making s’mores later that night. They shared testimonies and enjoyed their time together.
Friday we’ll head to an island church, host a basketball clinic, and have family fun night with the children. Thanks for continuing to pray for us!
