Monday, June 9, Behman Family (Mindoro)/Week 2 Team (somewhere over the Pacific Ocean)
Late last night, the team said their goodbyes from the Subic Bay Children’s Home and headed down to the Manila International Airport to return to the United States and to meet the Hurst family. After arriving at the Airport around 1:00 am and saying our goodbyes to the Week 2 team and Mr. and Mrs. Fulfer, the Week 3 team along with Mr. and Mrs. Cirone met the Hurst family around 2:00 am and headed down to the Port of Batangas to get in line for the RORO ferry (90-minute boat ride) to the island of Mindoro.
Currently, the Week 2 team is flying over the Pacific Ocean toward Los Angeles and the Week 3 team made it safely to the island of Mindoro and the Behman’s home. Because the Week 3 team (Brandon, Sierra, Alyssa, Samantha, and Mike) didn’t get much sleep, today is our day to relax a little bit as the last two weeks have been wonderfully intense. It was so refreshing hearing the testimony of the Behmans and how God has provided for their ministry and given them a vision of reaching their community including the Mangyan tribal people. Please continue to pray for Team Philippines (Week 2) for safety as they fly home and for Team Philippines (Week 3) as we’ve got several ministry opportunities during this next week with both the Behman and Hurst families.
Appreciate all your prayers and we send our love!
